Grace and Peace and welcome to today's Point of Inspiration - Perceive it and you will achieve it!
Praise the Lord for allowing us to enter into a new year full of promise and great expectancy to all those that believe. You may have experienced hardships and disappointments in 2007, and some of us may have experienced the best year of our lives in 2007. Whatever your situation may have been, we can truly look back and say, "Thank you God for bringing us through, for allowing us to see yet another year!" For God is worthy of our praise and because of him we are yet filled with hope for tomorrow.
I pray that we will all enter into this new year with anticipation. 2008 the year of new beginnings is a year to start over - a second chance, if you will. It is a new year to dedicate yourself to the Lord, to pray more, study God's Word more, to seek to have a closer, more intimate relationship with the Father. A new year to work on your marriage; to be the wife, the husband that the Lord has called you to be. To be dedicated, committed and faithful to your spouse. To be the Christian example for your children, to nurture, love and protect them from the wiles of this world. Maybe you desire to renew a friendship that went sour, or to start a new job, career, become an entrepreneur. This is your year if you can perceive it!
Many of us have made new year's resolutions that we may or may not keep, but let us look to Godly principles that do not fail. Habakkuk 2:2 chapter says write the vision and make it plain. Do you see yourself thinner in 2008? Write it down post it on your walls. Do you see yourself having more patience and becoming meek and humble? Write it in bold letters, for the Word of God says write the vision... it is for an appointed time. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Because we believe in a God that delivers - a God that can do supernatural things. Let us walk into this new year of new beginnings believing that God can and will do a new thing as his Word testifies, "Behold I am doing a new thing... Can you not perceive it?" (Isaiah 43:19). Let us perceive that 2008 will be our year for casting off the old and putting on the new. The "new thing", the new person that God has called us out to become. Let us walk boldly into 2008 perceiving and believing in New beginnings.
