Go Back Up

Saints it may appear as if you have lost the fight on the hill, but go back up.  For our God knows and sees all. He will give you the victory if you faint not.   'When the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will rise up a standard against him.' Isaiah 56.  God's standard is one of victory and not defeat.  Go back up again my sister. Regroup and go back up my brother.  The battle is not yours but the Lord's. He will have victory against his enemies. Yes you might have lost the first round and have received some near  fatal blows. But go back up.  You  may feel  ashamed and disappointed.  Go back up again soldier.  A true soldier does not accept defeat.  The battle is not lost.  For the Word of God says that those that trust him shall not be put to shame.  Yes, it seems like you have been fighting this battle for over a hundred or so years, and you are growing fearful and weary. Victory seems afar off and sometimes impossible. Do not retreat - daylight is still here.    Be encouraged beloved of the Lord. The race is not given to the swift, but to the one that endures to the end. Go back up and fight the good fight on the hill with the Word of God. Through God all things are possible. Victory belongs to the Lord.  

Does it seem like everytime you turn around you are struggling with health concerns, financial diffficulties, problems in your marrriage, in your family and on the job; or someone is attacking you on ever side?   Maybe your attack is coming from within.  You're under attack by your very own flesh.  Your flesh is attacking you, because it does not want to succumb to the Spirit. It does not want holinessness, righteousness, the things of God. Beloved take the Word of God with you into battle and knock the enemy down.
  
'Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.' Ephesians 6:10.   Take your helmet of salvation.  You are covered in the blood. Your head is protected from the enemy.  Go back up wearing your chest armour, which is the breastplate of righteousness.  Go back up with your waist-strapped up tight with the belt of truth.  Go back up again with your shoes of peace. Stand firm, steadfast, and unmovable in the peace of the gospel. Keep your shield of faith close to shield you from the attack of the enemy.
 
Then saints, beloved of the one and true God, swing your mighty two-edged Sword, which is the Word of God.  Strike the enemy a mighty blow. For your God and for the people of God.  Do not allow the lies, pressures, disappointments, afflictions of this world make you believe your God has forsaken you.  You are not forsaken. Do not quit before the battle is over.  Go back up .  If God be for you, who can stand against you? No one! No saint, no sinner, and certainly not satan!  Go back up again and again until he gives to you the victory.
